If you're curious about how a video is made, here are some rules I've learned. In case you were wondering; here are my tips for making it.

MAKE A VIDEO WITH PHOTOS AND MUSIC

The author made a video with images of themselves and the cassette they made. Just like any video, we have to note that we need professional effects to create a good-looking video. If you're a person with a shorter memory, you will easily forget these effects.

Experiment with the images in the background before starting to make the music video, have your people set the proper lighting, find out if there is a color palette or pictures that can represent the mood of the video.

If you don't know these things, I suggest you seek the help of any experienced photographer, because unless you're a photography major, this is an easier task than you think. There are countless possibilities.

START WITH 1 OR 2 IMAGES

This task is a lot easier than it seems. Just think of an image like this; how can you try to do this with just 1 or 2 images, so just start with that which you think is the greatest possible vision of yourself and the music video.

If you have only one image and I say a single image, then try something like this;

That same editing approach can be used to create a whole video from a single image.

HOW NOT TO DO A VIDEO

Not every decision will be clear to you. When I made videos with only images and then music, it wasn't always safe to do; the mistake was always so vivid I couldn't think of anything again.

When I experimented with this method, there were many mistakes, such as; not knowing where I was going, whether this would work for my audience, that I've gotten the question "what is that?' more than once and just never had a reaction.

From all of my mistakes, I found I was making more mistakes as the day went by. There were a couple of times that I stopped having even three images and I was still not sure which ones to pick for my music video. I did eventually make it, but I was in shock at the mistakes I was making. I would almost conclude that I didn't understand and could not fully learn until I went on to my next edit.

LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIENCE

Now, this is very important to make this process as easy as possible. This will help you avoid making decisions you don't know about, or you cannot see yourself making the mistake for.

The same thing applies to music videos; there are one or two times you can work with only one image or maybe even just two because of changes in seasons, a popular trend or season, or the right conditions to do so.

Artists need to be careful with the many questions they have to answer. They have to be careful not to generalize to the audience by using only what is popular or having the same kind of music as their favorite musicians. With that in mind, when it comes to knowing what music or a certain type of song is popular, it is really easy to generalize your viewers and that is just not good because it can be creepy and awkward.

When making any composition, don't forget that it is an artistic creation. If I were to make a music video, I would not do it with just the same type of music as I listened to ore liked. As I said before, there are kinds of music and kinds of visuals, so if I listen to reggae music, the music would have a reggae theme in it. This kind of combination of music and visual arts is possible and common.

For any artist, the key is, even though you have to try several genres, this is not obligatory, but, no matter how different one is, keep your creativity alive.

The bottom line of any music video is that the audience is the main influencer, so if the media doesn't treat you well, it is really hard to keep your audience happy.

TRUST IT, HURRY MODE!

I would not consider it that I am not truthful. I thought I'd never be successful to start with, so I have tried many things to become successful, from music videos to makeup to editing but I have a special formula that has helped me along the way.

(Lucky for me) that, since I take other people as some of my biggest fans, I am not starting by myself. I will probably be judged and have hurdles in my path, but I believe my record is strong enough to show why I can succeed with my vision for my songs and videos.
